PETER A. ROSANDICH, M.D. 

Peter A. Rosandich, M.D., a board certified Rheumatologist, is an Albuquerque native who graduated from Sandia High School.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was conferred the honor of Phi Beta Kappa.  Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Rosandich was awarded a graduate fellowship to study Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he received his Master’s Degree.  He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine.  He continued with an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and became board certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Rosandich subsequently completed his fellowship in Rheumatology at Emory where he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University, a position he held just prior to returning to Albuquerque in 2005.  In Albuquerque, he initially joined the Presbyterian Medical Group where he practiced Rheumatology until 2010.  That year he founded New Mexico Rheumatology, LLC and opened the doors in December of 2010.  In his spare time, Dr. Rosandich enjoys photography, traveling, and the outdoors with hiking and mountain biking.
